Walk with us in the afternoon when the sun is not quite as hot anymore. We will pass by trees with the favorite food of giraffes (Acacias), trees with roots
growing up in the air (Mangroves), trees with a trunk so thick you'll need an entire family to surround it (Baobab) and trees that are as hard as iron - or
almost at least. Here you will see different species of birds that are either resident here or just seasonal.
We'll continue to see traditional salt making and coconut beer brewing (give it a try if you like) and then make our way through a salt lake and see the local nomad
tribe (Mangati) with their cattle on their way back home. On our way back we enjoy a romantic sunset over the open plains and maybe spot some animals coming out for the night.
